In May 2013, nurses and volunteers, including one entire family, treated the seniors of the community to massage therapy, nail art, and a foot washing activity, which honors Jesus’ act of servanthood.

Last March 26, TRF held its second empowerment activity with the Senior Citizens of the pilot community at the Filinvest Housing in Muntinlupa. The seniors were treated to some Music Therapy with accapela singers lead by Spencer Gequillana. Known as ‘the singing pastor’, Spencer has recently joined the TRF team and provides spiritual care to TRF’s hospice patients. Medical and dental check-ups were also conducted by Dr. Malou Escano, with the help of other volunteer doctors and nurses.

The bundles will be distributed on the afternoon of Dec. 16-30, 2012 to our elderly neighbors in Muntinlupa who are aged 90 years old and above and to the Hospice patients within our pilot community, and attached will be a card of encouragement from the donor which we will happily prepare for you.
