atty. PETER IRVING C. CORVERA

Peter was the Undersecretary for Public Safety of the Department of Interior and Local Government from 2014 to July of 2016. As such, he directly supervised the entire Bureau of Fire Protection, and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, while also assisting the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government in supervising the Philippine National Police on operational matters. He was the Chairman of the Committee on Security, Peace and Order, and Emergency Preparedness for APEC 2015; and was the Philippine Senior Official for Transnational Crime; and the Lead Shepherd of the ASEAN Against Trafficking in Persons. He sat in the Dangerous Drugs Board, the Anti-Terrorism Council, the National Crisis Management Council, National Council for United Nations Peace Operations, and other public order and safety-related committees. He was the President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines for the cities of Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas and Muntinlupa; and was also the Founding Vice President of the Muntinlupa Bar Association. He was also a Commissioner on Bar Discipline for the IBP. He continues to be a Senior and Founding Partner at the Tolentino Corvera Macasaet and Reig Law Offices. He was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Central Philippine University, serving in such capacity since 2011 to 2017, and is presently the Vice Chairman of the same school.

DR. RUMALIE A. CORVERA

Dr. Mae is a Family Medicine and Palliative Medicine Specialist. She was the Chief Resident of the Department of Family and Community Medicine – Philippine General Hospital, and furthered into post-residency training in Supportive, Palliative and Hospice Care in the same institution. Her Clinical Attachment was with the Department of Palliative Medicine-National Cancer Center in Singapore. She completed her Post-graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine from the University of Wales in Cardiff and is presently completing her Masters degree in Palliative Medicine in the same university. In her 10 years of practice, she served as Home Care Physician for the Ayala Alabang Hospice Care Foundation for 3 years and as a consultant of the Hospice of Manila Empowerment (HOME). She is one of the pioneers of the Home Care and Hospice Program of the University of Perpetual Help (Dalta) Medical Center and had an integral role in the set up of the Supportive and Home Care Unit of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center. Her present practice is centered at Asian Hospital and Medical Center where she is the Chairman of the Bioethics Committee, a member of the Cancer Committee, and Consultant under the Department of Occupational and Family Medicine where she actively practices Supportive Care and Palliative Medicine in both the home and in-patient setting.

Teresita H. VASAY

Tess is a Certified Public Accountant and a Licensed Real Estate Broker. She was formerly the Treasurer of Oriental Petroleum and Minerals Corporation until she retired in 2020. She held various positions in the Gokongwei Group; the Treasurer of Robinsons Land Corporation and the Summit Media Group; a Director and Treasurer of various condominium corporations for RLC projects and Vice President-Controller of the Robinsons Retail Group. She has had experience in consumer financing from Filinvest Credit Corporation and also practiced public accounting with SGV & Co. She and her late husband Pol, served and helped establish The Ruth Foundation. She continues to support The Ruth Foundation as its newest board member.

MICHAEL R. TRINIDAD

Mike is a businessman and a pastor at Greenhills Christian Fellowship. He is currently the President and General Manager of Riverview Resort and Conference Center in Calamba, Laguna (a family owned resort and hotel). He is also a Pastor at Greenhills Christian Fellowship (GCF)-South Metro where he has served as a member of the Council of Elders for 10 years and has led the Worship, Growth Group, Spiritual Formation and Missions Ministry. He is currently the Pastor in Charge of the Exalting Ministry and an occasional pulpit preacher.

Mike obtained his Bachelor of Science Major in Tourism from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He previously worked for Cathay Pacific Airways and eventually managed his own travel agency thereafter.

ANGELITA J. LABORTE

Angie is a successful businesswoman and a specialist in social and fundraising activities. She is currently the CEO of Geographic Resources United Pan Pacific Inc (GRUPP Inc) - an electro-manufacturing and engineering company and the Corporate Secretary of International Industry Partners, Inc. She is a Corporate Secretary and core member of Stage Zero by Project Pink, a support group for cancer patients. She is likewise a founding member of the Palms Country Club Social and Dining Committee.

Sr. supt. RODERICK P. AGUTO

is currently the Regional Director of The Bureau of Fire Protection, MIMAROPA Region IV-B. He was a former Fire Marshal of Makati City and Muntinlupa City.He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree at the National University and also finished his Bachelor of Science in Public Safety at the Philippine National Police Academy, Class of  1996. He is happily married to Glenda with kids: Love, Nikov, and Vokin.

JOEL REYES ZOBEL

Joel is a multi-awarded news commentator. He is presently the Anchorman of Super Radyo DZBB of GMA Network, Inc., “Super Balita sa Umaga, Nationwide!”, his own commentary, “Bangon Na, Bayan!”, and the newscast and commentary program “Kape at Balita”. He was previously an Anchorman, Desk Supervisor and Reporter for DZRV Radyo Veritas and the Scriptwriter for the Department of Science & Technology. He received several citations such as the Best Radio News Commentary from the Catholic Mass Media Awards and was named the Best Radio Talk Show Host by the KBP Golden Dove Awards.
